The College of language and communication “CLC” graduates obtain their degree depending on their specialization; Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Language and Translation with a minor in Communication, or Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Media with a major and two minors depending on each student’s selected specialization; Digital Media or Radio and Television Production.
We offer a unique combination between translation and media studies. CLC provides the labor market with graduates who have excellence in using different communication tools and work in interdisciplinary work fields.

Admission Requirements
The certificate is accepted from the (science / math / literature sections).
a) The Certificate from KSA
– The certificate must be scientific or literature section (semester or credit system )+شهادة القدرات
– Exclude the unqualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education and National Education.
b) Other Arabic Certificates
– Exclude the unqualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education and National Education.
- Students must achieve 12or 11 years of schooling.
- Accepted scores must be taken during not more than 4 successive years after grade 9.
- The subjects must be “extended” not “core” curriculum
- The students must take 8 O levels subjects.
- The 8 subjects must include the following qualifying 2 subjects: English and Math.
- The Minimum grade for O level is (C/4).
- Students must achieve 12 years of schooling.
- Students must pass in 8 subjects (not repeated) with a minimum one credit for each subject.
- 40% is taken from the selected 8 subjects.
- Maximum 2 subjects from grade 10
- Maximum 4 subjects from grade 11
- Minimum 4 subjects from grade 12 and maximum 8 subjects
- Students must submit a minimum SAT 1 / ACT 1 / EST score of 800.

Bachelor of Arts in Language and Translation
• We empower students to develop linguistic, literary, and translation knowledge, skills and abilities to contribute to the ever-changing world. The program also offers a minor in Communication to equip students with media-related workspace knowledge, skills, and experience that will better prepare them for interdisciplinary work fields.
• Students are trained using the latest educational methods, including language and translation laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art translation tools, in addition to simultaneous and consecutive interpretation software.

Bachelor of Media
Students are trained to use the latest educational methods, including professional television and radio studios, as well as a state-of-the-art photography studio, in addition to computer labs equipped with all software needed to study design, editing, dubbing, etc.
The Media major offers two main specializations accompanied by related Minors:
1. Radio and television production:
Students who choose to major in radio and television production can select between the following two minors:
• Dubbing and Subtitling
• Radio and Television Announcing
2. Digital media:
Students who choose to major in digital media can select between the following three minors:
• Digital Journalism
• Digital Advertising
• Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC)

International Accreditation
• The graduate obtains an accredited certificate from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. The college also allows students to travel and study at the university if they wish.
International Programs
• Students can study summer courses at Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain.
• Students can study at the University of Geneva, Switzerland for a full semester.
• Students receive lectures by visiting professors from international universities, especially Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, where they learn about the latest developments in their field of study worldwide.
