College of Pharmacy offers two programs covering any university degree necessary to obtain a license to practice your career in any available pharmaceutical fields.

The Pharm D - Clinical Pharmacy program - differs from the Pharm D program that it contains more “clinical” courses to qualify the graduate to practice clinical pharmacy, which is concerned with the pharmacotherapy of patients “in hospitals and clinics” to treat and prevent their illnesses ensuring patients are given medication in the appropriate dosage and form.

Graduates of the two programs can work in governmental pharmacies, private pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical factories, and research bodies, in the field of drug advertising, drug distribution and drug control. Clinical pharmacy graduates (in addition to the above) can also practice clinical pharmacy in hospitals within the health care team of physicians, nurses, and other patient care professionals.

a) The certificate from KSA
– The certificate must be a scientific section (semester or credit system) +شهادة القدرات
– Exclude the unqualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education, and National Education.
b) Other Arabic Certificates
– Exclude the unqualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education, and National Education.

IGCSE Certificate

For all the medical schools; Students must achieve 12 or 11 years of schooling.
Accepted scores must be taken during not more than 4 successive years after grade 9.
The subjects must be “extended” not “core” curriculum
For all the medical schools; Students must take 8 O-levels subjects
The 8 subjects must include the following qualifying 5 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English and any other 3 subjects, e.g. Geography, Accounting ,…etc
The Minimum grade for O level is (C/4) and for AS or AL is (D).

American Diploma

Students must achieve 12 years of schooling.
Students must pass in 8 subjects (not repeated) with a minimum one credit for each subject.
40% is taken from the selected 8 subjects.
Maximum 2 subjects from grade 10
Maximum 4 subjects from grade 11
Minimum 4 subjects from grade 12 and maximum 8 subjects
Students must submit a minimum SAT 1 / ACT 1 / EST score of 800.
SAT 2/ ACT 2 / EST2 with minimum score 900. For the medical schools, the 8 subjects must include the following 5 qualifying subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & English.
SAT2 /ACT2/EST2 one of the 2 subjects is Biology and the other is one of Math, Chemistry, or Physics.

• The Academy cooperates with the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) to accredit the programs offered by College of Pharmacy.

• Council of Universities in Egypt as all AAST colleges.
• The College has an active academic institutional membership at the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
• The College collaborated with various national and international institutions in the field of education, training and scientific research, such as: Bradford University, Belarusian Medical State University, Philipps Universitat Marburg and Universitat De Saarlandes Germany, University of the Basque Country Spain, American Society for Healthcare System Pharmacists ASHP.
We also collaborate with several Egyptian Universities, with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), Pharmacists Syndicate as well as major pharmaceutical companies and hospitals in Alexandria.
