Bachelor of Oral & Dental Surgery
Our dentistry program is evidence-based and acquired over a 5 years period (10 semesters), followed by a mandatory one year of training (internship) to grant the student the degree. The Credit Hours are 102 Didactic hours and 80 Practical hours. The aim of this program is to produce a competent and skillful dentist who is able to bare professional responsibility towards both community and patients. Skillful in effective primary and comprehensive dental care of oral and dental diseases maintaining the safety and infection control procedures and always considering ethical and medico-legal responsibilities and their experience limitations. A graduate who appreciates the need for continuing professional development and is always able to utilize advances in relevant knowledge and techniques.

Admission Requirements
From the science section.
a) The certificate from KSA
– The certificate must be a scientific section (semester or credit system )+شهادة القدرات
– Exclude the unqualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education, and National Education.
b) Other Arabic certificates
– Exclude the unqualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education, and National Education.
- For all the medical schools; Students must achieve 12 or 11 years of schooling.
- Accepted scores must be taken during not more than 4 successive years after grade 9.
- The subjects must be “extended” not “core” curriculum
- For all the medical schools; Students must take 8 O-levels subjects
- The 8 subjects must include the following qualifying 5 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English and any other 3 subjects, e.g. Geography, Accounting ,…etc
- The Minimum grade for O level is (C/4) and for AS or AL is (D).
- Students must achieve 12 years of schooling.
- Students must pass in 8 subjects (not repeated) with a minimum one credit for each subject.
40% is taken from the selected 8 subjects. - Maximum 2 subjects from grade 10
- Maximum 4 subjects from grade 11
- Minimum 4 subjects from grade 12 and maximum 8 subjects
- Students must submit a minimum SAT 1 / ACT 1 / EST score of 800.
- SAT 2/ ACT 2 / EST2 with minimum score 900. For the medical schools, the 8 subjects must include the following 5 qualifying subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & English.
- SAT2 /ACT2/EST2 one of the 2 subjects is Biology and the other is one of Math, Chemistry, or Physics.

The program is characterized to provide practical training opportunities abroad based on the international agreements concluded. This is in addition to practical field exercises through medical convoys and awareness convoys that are set through the college's role in community service.

International Agreements
A Memorandum of Understanding with the Faculty Of Dentistry of the Belarusian State Medical University - Belarus and the Arthur Dugoni School of the Pacific University – San Francisco – USA. The Agreements aim to cooperate in the field of training and postgraduate studies for the college members, conferences, joint research, consulting & student exchange.
