The College of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage aims at creating a new generation of archaeologists and international academic standards’ heritage specialists. That is why we aimed at partnerships with international archaeology and heritage institutions within international universities to maintain the quality of the educational degrees. This high standard quality education transfers the knowledge and expertise from western hands to us. A roadmap for a better future of the Arab and African Cultural Heritage, to be used actively for sustainable economic development, and help preserve the identity and cultural diversity of the region passing through many current challenges.

Admission Requirements

Thanaweya Aamma (Egyptian High School Certificate)

The certificate is accepted from the (science / math / literature sections).

Certificate From Arab Countries

a) The Certificate from KSA
– The certificate must be scientific or literature section (semester or credit system) +شهادة القدرات
– Exclude the un-qualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education and National Education.
b) Other Arabic Certificates
– Exclude the un-qualifying subjects:
Ex: Islamic Subjects, Physical Education, Behavior, Attendance, Military Education and National Education.

IGCSE Certificate

  • Students must achieve 12or 11 years of schooling.
  • Accepted scores must be taken during not more than 4 successive years after grade 9.
  • The subjects must be “extended” not “core” curriculum
  • The students must take 8 O levels subjects.
  • The 8 subjects must include the following qualifying 2 subjects: English and Math.
  • The Minimum grade for O level is (C/4).

American Diploma

  • Students must achieve 12 years of schooling.
  • Students must pass in 8 subjects (not repeated) with a minimum one credit for each subject.
  • 40% is taken from the selected 8 subjects.
  • Maximum 2 subjects from grade 10.
  • Maximum 4 subjects from grade 11.
  • Minimum 4 subjects from grade 12 and maximum 8 subjects.
  • Students must submit a minimum SAT 1 / ACT 1 / EST score of 800.

• The College of Archeology and Cultural Heritage is the only in Egypt and the region that grants a specialization in Cultural Heritage according to international quality standards.
• The college includes a diversified group of faculty members from different nationalities, and some with the expertise of working on international archaeological missions.
• The location of the campus “Aswan” is unique in terms of proximity to archaeological sites, museums, and aspects of heritage and the rich culture of Aswan, making it the ideal place to study archaeology and cultural heritage on practical bases.
• The teaching system is based on free and critical thinking and includes several disciplines such as anthropology, museology, heritage management, digital heritage and heritage and media.
• Students are trained by experts from international universities such as Oxford in UK and Cologne in Germany.
• Students may enroll in research projects in the department during the summer and receive a stipend.
• Upon graduation, students can continue their studies abroad for master's and PhD degrees from prestigious universities.

• Enrollment in graduate studies programs and work in the academic field as researchers and professors.
• Working as archaeologists in various foreign archaeological missions in Egypt.
